Damietta Container and Cargo Handling Company is currently implementing the dry port project in New Damietta City, which aims to serve the logistics corridor (Damietta - Mansoura - Tanta), It relieves pressure on seaports and facilitates the movement of goods, which contributes to improving logistics efficiency and reducing costs. The project achieves a competitive advantage for the company through:

• Providing better service to exporters and importers, by adding value-added services, and logistics services and activities for customers.
• Benefiting from the amendments to the Customs Law, so that the dry port becomes a source of demand from outside Egypt, providing customers with speed and flexibility in procedures.

Location

The dry port is located in New Damietta City next to Damietta Port, opposite the western barrier in front of the multi-purpose station Tourist Villages Road in New Damietta City, near the international coastal road (Damietta - Alexandria).

2. Providing agricultural, veterinary and health quarantine services, inspection and quality laboratories.
3. Providing a highly efficient security system within the dry port.

3. Freezing and cooling refrigerator.
4. Warehouses for various types of goods.
5. Container repair and maintenance workshop.
